This approach empowers vulnerable children to thrive within the Thai education system, reducing the risk of premature drop-out once enrolled.

Youth Peers play a key role in supporting children’s language skills

All NFE sessions are carefully designed in alignment with national standards to eliminate barriers that hinder children’s access to education. Activities include Thai language lessons and after-school sessions, which may focus on arts and crafts, math and science, and English language lessons, among others.

BDF’s Non-Formal Education (NFE) project aims to ensure vulnerable children’s access to education by providing necessary support in their holistic integration to the formal Thai education system, thereby preventing early school drop-out.
