Our Recognition

Child protection lies at the heart of
BDF’s work

On May 15, 2024, BDF was honored to present at the Childhood Partner Meeting, hosted by the World Childhood Foundation, in the presence of H.M. Queen Silvia and other World Childhood partners. BDF was inspired by the incredible work of our fellow child rights organizations in Thailand. The following day, at the Child Protection Summit, H.M. Queen Silvia and H.M. Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana spoke about the urgent need to break the silence around child sexual abuse. BDF is proud to be part of this vital network, united in our mission to protect vulnerable children and ensure a brighter future for every child!

"In the Shadow of Skyscrapers" 
Exhibition

On June 19, 2024, BDF and award-winning photographer Ben Buckland launched the photo exhibition "In the Shadow of Skyscrapers" at the Foreign Correspondents' Club of Thailand - FCCT. This exhibition highlights the lives of vulnerable children and families in Thailand's construction camps. Our Board member, Ms. Tanaporn Ormtavesub, spoke about the challenges these families face and the solutions offered through the Building Social Impact Initiative.
