Youth Empowerment Project

BDF’s Youth Empowerment Project (YEP) promotes youth empowerment by facilitating access to education, skills development, and capacity to address children and their peers’ needs. The project seeks to motivate and support youth in pursuing higher education, increasing social mobility, and serving as role models in their community to break the cycle of poverty.

Youth engage in activities to develop confidence and leadership skills

Youth Peers assist BDF’s Child Development Officers during Non-formal Education (NFE) sessions, helping with homework, teaching Thai language, and providing essential community feedback. Through Youth Peer Empowerment training, BDF nurtures their confidence and leadership skills, helping them to realize their full potential in life. These sessions offer a secure platform for discussing personal goals and growth.
